HMS Flying Fox is the Royal Naval Reserve Unit associated with Bristol.


Led by Commander Richard Bateman, HMS Flying Fox has enjoyed a long association with the historic port of Bristol. This was formally recognised when HMS Flying Fox was awarded the Freedom of the City of Bristol in 2002.
Today, the unit shares its facilities with the Naval Regional Headquarters for Bristol and the West of England. Interested parties can attend an admin night is the first Tuesday of each month, from 19:30-21:30.
