HMS Spey (P234)

HMS Spey is the last of the five new Offshore Patrol Vessels built to replace the current River Class vessels.

Commanded by Commander Matthew Court, HMS Spey is the fifth and final of the second-generation River Class Offshore Patrol Vessels built for the Royal Navy. And as such, her crew dub her the ‘last of class - best of class’.

HMS Spey is currently preparing to sail to the Indo-Pacific region with her sister ship, HMS Tamar. A deployment designed to provide an enduring forward presence for the Royal Navy in the region.
