Nominations extended for 2019 Women in Defence Awards

Do you know an outstanding individual or team working for the Royal Navy or across defence?
Show them how much you value their contribution and help celebrate their success by nominating them for a 2019 Women in Defence Award.
Judges are looking for people who make a real difference, for outstanding achievements of teams and individuals who, over the last year, have driven forward the progress of women in defence.
Nominations are encouraged across every grade, rank and rate – the deadline has been extended until noon on 24 May so act quickly and visit www.womenindefenceuk.com/Awards-2019

You can nominate military, civilian and reservists for any of the following categories:
• Inspirational Award
• Outstanding Contribution Award
• Most Collaborative Award
• Special Award (this category is for nominees whose achievements do not fit directly under one of the other categories)
• Emerging Talent Award
• Innovation Award
• Promotion of Gender Balance Award (also open to men)
• Unsung Heroines Award
• STEM in Defence Award (open to women, men and teams)
• Inclusive Teamwork Award (only open to teams)
