In total the team climbed Braeriach, Sgor an Lochain Uaine (The Angel’s Peak), Cairn Toul & The Devil’s Point peaking at 1296 metres atop Braeriach.
“At the beginning I was excited but also apprehensive since my previous maximum number of Munros bagged in a day was a mere 2”. Said AB Collingwood, one of the expedition team members.
The team made use of Rothiemurchus Lodge, exclusive accommodation for regulars and ex-regulars of the Armed Forces in addition to Reserves, MoD Civilians and Cadet Forces, for the weekends activities.
I found the expedition challenging but massively rewarding. I enjoyed learning new skills but more importantly, I enjoyed the company.
