There are now just days left to make the most of early bird savings on advance tickets for this year’s exciting HMS Sultan Summer Show 2018.

Tickets are available now from hmssultan.ticketsrv.co.uk/ for the Show which takes place during the Fathers Day weekend of Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June, with reduced prices available until Thursday 14 June.

Exciting attractions which have already been announced include Monster Trucks ‘Big Pete’ and ‘The Grim Reaper’ who will be roaring into life in the Main Arena at 12:30 & 16:30 across both days and we are pleased to announce that in a special addition to the Show, rides on the Monster Ride Truck, ‘Red Dragon’ will also be available to book on the day for a very reasonable fee.

The Show will be jam-packed with high quality Arena Entertainment, interactive games and displays, a craft and a steam fayre and an enormous funfair. In addition, the 2018 Show will include a huge Fun and Games Arena and an Engineering Zone, both of which will be packed full of free activities to enjoy and the Deeds of Arms Gun Deck Experience, complete with gun’s firing, will offer a unique opportunity to hear about how Georgian sailors aboard HMS Temeraire found themselves in the thick of the action at the Battle of Trafalgar.

HMS Sultan Summer Show 2018

Appearing alongside the Monster Trucks in the Main Arena will be Team Green Rockets Children’s Motorcycle Display Team. Performing adrenaline-fuelled stunts, this talented troop of young boys & girls will astound you with their airborne stunts & formation riding performance. Local youngsters from the Royal Naval Volunteer Cadet Corps will compete in Field Gun Competition and, in keeping with the best of Naval Traditions, the award winning HMS Sultan Volunteer Band will be marching to a music medley. If that wasn’t enough a procession of classic steam vehicles will bring back memories of halcyon days.

The free Fun and Games Arena will offer a great mix of modern and traditional games and activities including inflatables, a petting zoo, Creepy Crawlies and exotic creatures.

2018 is the Year of Engineering and HMS Sultan, as the home of Royal Navy Marine and Air Engineering training, will be celebrating this at the Show with an Engineering Zone packed full of hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based activities, as well as interactive displays of static aircraft and military hardware.

For a calmer experience, visitors can walk around the steam fayre, view classic cars from across the region or browse through the large selection of charity, commercial and craft stalls on display.

Community is at the heart of the HMS Sultan Summer Show and the event promises to provide every visitor with an affordable day out of exceptional entertainment. What’s more as a not for profit event, the Show also ploughs back much needed funds into Service and Local Charities and organisations.
