The RN village, including two static helicopters, the Northern diving group, Royal Marines offshore raiding craft and weapon dome, the submarine trailer, provided a great attraction on the ground to support the flying displays.
Also on hand in the village were a careers information vehicle, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Reserves, Sea Cadet and Royal Navy recruiters.
The Royal Marines band opened the air show as part of the on stage entertainment which culminated with the annual fireworks display.
During the weekend the diving tank and static aircraft were huge draws and the Royal Marines excited the crowds with their unarmed combat display.
As the weather worsened over the course of the weekend, the ground displays provided the main attraction for the show attendees and all displays enjoyed large crowds throughout.
