In order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Army v Navy rugby match the RNRMC have been challenging anyone to do anything related to the number 100 throughout April to raise funds for Charity.
Using two SkiErg machines, designed to incorporate the whole of your body in a cardio vascular workout, the team from the Sports And Recreation Centre swapped over to fit the 100 mile challenge around their core training of the Establishment’s personnel.
Leading Physical Trainer Adam ‘Ads’ Scott said, “The Twickenham 100 Challenge provided a really good opportunity for the PT Staff to come together as a team to not only show our support for the RNRMC but also our capacity as a Department”

LPT Scott added, “We’ve been really lucky too in that the Establishment got right behind what we were trying to achieve with lots of people digging deep to show their support for a fantastic cause.”
In 2015 the RNRMC distributed more money than ever before (£8.1m) to causes supporting Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
To continue to meet this level of demand the Charity needs to raise an additional £500,000 each year to raise money to support other sailors, marines, and their families, past and present.
