Cambria Petty Officer receives clasp for outstanding contribution

Petty Officer Dean Thomas of HMS Cambria is shown with Captain Mark Wyatt, visiting from Navy Command Headquarters to update the Ships Company on the move to new premises in Cardiff Bay.

Receiving his clasp to his Volunteer Reserves Service Medal (VRSM) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Royal Navy Reserves, PO Thomas has twice been mobilised to work for UK Maritime Trade Operations in the United Arab Emirates. 

He contributed significantly to the freedom of Maritime Trade in the area and was a great asset to the team working there.

He has also given a great deal of time and effort in developing his Branch Specialisation within both HMS Cambria's main unit and Tender Unit, Tawe Division in Swansea.
