The two day Show, which also runs throughout Father’s Day was full of exciting acts.
Atkinson Action Horses and amazing stunts from the Squibb Freestyle Stunt Team wowed the crowds in the main arena alongside Rockwood Dogs, the Gosport Tigers Children’s Motorcycle Display Team, the Volunteer Cadet Corps Field Gun competition and the HMS Sultan Volunteer Band.
Outside the main arena the Big Top tour of the multi award-winning John Lawson’s Circus, delighted visitors young and old alike with all the thrills and spills of the Circus.
In addition guests took in all the fun of enjoying activities including the adrenaline zone, the Fun and Games Arena, Fleet Air Arm Displays and the more traditional Steam Fayre and Fun Fair.
It takes an enormous effort to put on a major event like this and I am very proud of the men and women of HMS Sultan, military and civilian, whose hard work over the last few months has resulted in this action packed, enjoyable show.

The HMS Sultan Summer Show continues to maintain its core values of exceptional entertainment at affordable prices. As always the Show aims to raise valuable funds for local and Service charities.
The Commanding Officer of HMS Sultan Captain Peter Towell said: “This is my first show as the Commanding Officer and I am delighted that it provides us with such a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Gosport community and provide a fun day out for the whole family, whilst at the same time raise funds for local charities and good causes.”
“Last year’s Summer Show was very successful, we raised over £25,000 which was donated to local and Service charities and good causes and hopefully everyone’s support will enable us to do the same again this year.”
