RFA Mounts Bay mixes the Christmas Pudding

Commanding Officer, Captain Stephen Norris, recently visited RFA Mounts Bay galley to assist CPO Cook Neil Turner and the ships catering staff in the preparation of the traditional Christmas pudding.

RFA Mounts Bay, recently engaged in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations post Hurricane Irma and Maria will be alongside at Christmas and the New Year.

The Ships Company will continue to work as normal during the festive period.

However, there should be time to enjoy a traditional Christmas luncheon, not forgetting the completed pudding.

Mounts Bay personnel remain mindful that we could be called upon, even on Christmas Day, to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief.

Captain Norris

Captain Norris commented, “Mounts Bay personnel remain mindful that we could be called upon, even on Christmas Day, to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief.

"To that end, work will continue to be focused on ensuring that stores and equipment remain in peak condition to enable Mounts Bay to sail and continue to deliver support wherever it is required."
