Thousands enjoy dazzling fireworks display at HMS Sultan

31 October 2016
HMS Sultan opened their gates on Thursday night for a wonderful evening of spectacular entertainment at the annual Bonfire & Fireworks Night.

Thousands of people headed to Gosport to enjoy one of the South’s largest fireworks display, accompanied by it’s own musical soundtrack.

As well as the main display, guests also enjoyed seeing fire breathers, entertainers, an enormous funfair and a traditional bonfire.

Each year the HMS Sultan Bonfire & Fireworks attracts around 10,000 visitors and is organised and run by those currently serving at the Gosport Establishment.

We are so pleased to welcome so many people to our Bonfire & Fireworks Night.

Captain Peter Towell RN

Captain Peter Towell, the Commanding Officer of HMS Sultan said: “We are so pleased to welcome so many people to our Bonfire & Fireworks Night.”

“The main aim of the evening is to provide the people of Gosport and the local community with an affordable night out of quality entertainment.”

“My personal thanks go not only to the team who have organised the event, but also to everyone who has come along to support us.”
