Woodentots nursery takes ownership of new turtle bus

6 October 2016
Woodentots Nursery, HMS Collingwood is delighted to have their very own Turtle Bus, with the toddlers thoroughly enjoying their first outing, as the photograph shows.

The bus was funded with money raised during the cake sales and Christmas raffle held over the last 12 months and will be a great asset to facility.

Allowing up to six children to ride in the turtle bus at any one time, it offers the smaller children the chance to explore HMS Collingwood.

On behalf of all the children, parents and Woodentots staff members, thank you very much HMS Collingwood.

Lieutenant Commander Caroline Thomas-Hoefsmit

Lieutenant Commander Caroline Thomas-Hoefsmit, Secretary of Woodentots Parent Staff Association said “The turtle bus really adds value to the day to day experience of the children in the nursery.

"On behalf of all the children, parents and Woodentots staff members, thank you very much HMS Collingwood.

"The next cake sale will be held on 11 October from 0930 - 1030 in the Chaplaincy and on Rubber Road.”
