In a welcome break from the rigours of regeneration, Wednesday 11th May saw HMS Argyll enter three teams in the Devonport Commodore’s Cup volleyball competition.

After a brief practice to sharpen their volleyball skills teams B & C found themselves in a group playing a team of PTI’s and 1AGRM, whilst team A participated in the smaller round robin against the UPO and the HM school.

A compelling match which saw Team C use their extra match experience to triumph

Argyll A topped their group with two wins and Argyll C top their group after a second game 1 AGRM.  This resulted in an all Argyll final - a compelling match which saw Team C use their extra match experience to triumph, pulling clear in the final minute, making them Commodore’s Cup champions.
