A special attraction will be Courageous, the decommissioned Cold War nuclear submarine, which will re-open for public guided tours after a six-month closure for refurbishment.
A new temporary exhibition will commemorate the centenary of the battle of Jutland - telling the stories of the battle, the Devonport ships that took part, personal stories from the men at sea, events in Devonport area and Devonport Dockyard at the time and Naval technical developments relating to the battle.
There are galleries displaying one of the UK’s largest collections of 1:72 scale model warships, ranging from WW2 to the current day and exhibitions on traditional boat building and the history of navigation.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and heritage of Devonport, the naval base and the Royal Navy and is an excellent day out with something for all the family

Exhibitions will also cover World War One, collections of uniforms and medals and the history of the Plymouth Breakwater.
