In the KIA Fine Cars Arena:
Big Pete & the Grim Reaper Monster Truck Show.
Big Pete & the Grim Reaper Monster Truck Team are delighted to be invited to perform at HMS Sultan Summer Show 2016.
Weighing in at 7.5 tons this awesome machine is built for one reason only – mass destruction!
Big Pete is one of Europe’s largest Monster Trucks with a full size American truck body, and is now partnered by the Grim Reaper.
This is a chance to watch two real Monster Trucks at work, jumping 15ft in the air and crushing anything in its path.
Between displays you are invited to meet the team in the holding area and to have your picture taken with a real monster truck.
Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Display Team
As Honda’s official and the UK’s number one motorcycle display team, the Bolddog Lings Team base their show around the world’s largest and most sophisticated mobile landing system.
The show features the uk’s top-ranked freestyle motocross riders, incorporating the latest heart-stopping tricks as usually only seen on TV.
The team also provides an informative on-board commentary by the riders, even talking to the crowd whilst performing a trick, flying 35ft in the air. Between displays the public are invited to the interactive stand, where they can get a closer look at the bikes and meet the riders.
This team will not be beaten on entertainment and strive to ensure that the crowds are left mind-blown and thoroughly entertained.
The Lamb National
This event really is one for all the family as you watch the stars of track and field: The hardy Herdwick sheep are in sheep shape and are a breed known for their agility as they originate from the challenging terrain of the Lake District in Cumbria, UK and need to be able to jump to negotiate natural hazards.
In their individual colours, jumping over fences to complete the race, the Lamb Nationals provide an amusing commentary from the initial parade where the runners & riders are introduced with names such as ‘Red Ram’ and ‘No Ewe Turns’ and throughout the race describing each sheep’s attempt to bleat the competition.
Bob Hogg Sheepdog Display
Bob Hogg has earned himself an excellent reputation for his professional and highly entertaining displays, in which the dogs work geese and ducks.
The display is informative for the adults, as Bob shares his unique training methods and great fun for the children, as they are invited into the arena whilst the dogs work the ducks around an obstacle course, down a slide and into a pool.
Also in the Arena
In keeping with the best of military traditions HMS Sultan’s Ceremonial Guard will perform a special Marching Display to mark the Establishment’s 60th anniversary and the Volunteer Band will Beat Retreat and perform Ceremonial Sunset.
