HMS Cambria nurse wins award

On February 9th 2016, HMS Cambria’s Leading Naval Nurse Nicola Bromham was awarded Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan’s Certificate of Merit to record the “grateful recognition of devotion to duty”.

LNN Bromham took the lead on organising the 2015 UK Three Peaks Cambria Challenge, and helped to lead the team to raise over £2000 for Ty Hafan and the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity.

RFCA (Reserves Forces and Cadets for Wales) referred to her as ‘a natural leader’ and a ‘true professional’, and she proudly received the award from Naval Regional Commander Wales and West of England, Commodore Jamie Miller CBE Royal Navy in her home unit, Ty John Chard House in Swansea.
