It’s a knockout brings festive season into the swing

20 December 2016
The Sports and Recreation Centre (SARC) HMS Sultan recently held its annual Christmas It’s a Knockout competition beckoning in all the fun of the season in to the Establishment.

An afternoon of fun and games was the aim as the Physical Training Instructors provided fifteen Christmas themed stances which included a Santa Gauntlet, Bucking Bronco, rope climbing and a visit to the Elf’s Sweet Shop for some novelty taste tests.

Teams of personnel in fancy dress from across the Establishment took part in the event.  In addition, for Phase 2 Trainees from the Defence College of Technical Training’s Royal Naval Air Engineering & Survival Equipment School (RNAESS) and the Defence School of Marine Engineering (DSMarE) the event was the final Competition in the Engineers Trophy, which this year was won by the RNAESS.

There’s been a real buzz about the place and it’s a really entertaining way to do some team building and keep everyone fit.
