Since 1972 the Pensioners Christmas Dinner has been organised by a team of Royal Navy volunteers from the WOSRM.
This year, thanks to on-going links with charities for the elderly and local care homes, the Establishment was able to invite over 200 guests for an evening of good food and festive fun.
The evening was completely free for all those in attendance who enjoyed live music and dancing as well as the opportunity to take part in a raffle and some bingo.

The event is partly funded through donations from members of the WOSRM and from donations from the HMS Sultan Summer Show and other fundraising events such as community Horse Racing Nights.
Base Warrant Officer and Mess President Jason ‘Mo’ Morris said: “We were delighted to host the Pensioners Christmas Dinner in the Mess.”
“The evening was really well received and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
