OUTLINE SYLLABUS
By the end of the training package students will be able to:
Summarise the shipping organisation down to individual ship management
Describe ship operations
Describe port operations
Describe effective communication
Brief a ship’s master
Requirements
Suitable for senior ratings and junior officers who have some Maritime Trade Organisation (MTO), (Allied Worldwide Navigation Information System (AWNIS) and Naval Cooperation and Guidance of Shipping (NCAGS)) experience.
Should have participated in a least one NATO exercise in an NCAGS role
