Quantock House

Quantock House welcomes Service families based in Taunton and the surrounding area to enjoy a range of facilities, events and activities.

Your community hub

Quantock House will incorporate the RN FPS Taunton Team boasting three new office space, an interview/calm room, an information entrance space and a community room including a fully fitted kitchen.

The project is funded by LIBOR and RNRMC. Quantock house is a refurbishment of an existing building dating back to early 1915.

There will also be a contact apartment which consists of a lounge, parent bedroom and a children's room with two beds. This is designed to allow single serving ranks the ability to have over night care of their children, which is currently not available.

Actively engaging with the centre can provide a really important social outlet and even help you to develop a support network among other Service families. Interested? Come down to Quantock House and join the community.

Facilities

On top of all the events that run from Quantock House, there’s also a range of facilities for you to use, including:

Three brand new top spec offices,
Interview/calm room
An information entrance space
A community room
Fully fitted out kitchen (Washing machine, dishwasher fridge freezer)
Lounge, parent bedroom and a children's room with two beds.

It is designed to allow single serving ranks the ability to have over night care of their children.
